day 150

We have been working on eating better, well eating healthier. It depends on your definition of better. For us that means cutting out as much sugar as we can and highly processed foods. It’s not that we don’t enjoy them. I have an extreme sweet tooth. But we do feel better when we eat better.

It’s always tempting to allow ourselves to cheat and add those old favorites back in but it always makes us feel sluggish and nearly sick. Garbage in, garbage out. We are learning that when we make the short term hard decisions in every aspect of our lives it will lead to a long term easier and healthier life. And it doesn’t hurt that there is a lot of beauty in natural foods.
