A drop of water. Dew actually but still water. What’s it’s worth? What is its value? How valuable is it to you? Over the last few weeks I’ve met and got to listen to the thoughts of a man named Charles on the inherent differences of value. If we are standing in our Midwest kitchens with no scarcity of clean, drinkable water this drop, although pretty to look at, doesn’t hold a lot of value. Now if we were standing in the middle of the African Sahara every drop of water would be the most precious thing to our life. This dew drop along with Charles’ lesson got me thinking about how much we take for granted in our lives and how we should look around at what should truly be valued.
